But in the Horn of Africa, these effects are catastrophic — food supplies are depleting, and food prices are rising month by month. Conflict, drought, and climate change have further exacerbated food shortages, forcing many families to flee their homes.

Cash assistance provides an effective solution to this complex crisis. By providing families with direct cash support, they can purchase the food and essential supplies they need most.

• $150 supports two families with cash to purchase a month's worth of food (just $5 per day).
